Take a leadership role on carrying out the goals and strategies of your committee
Take initiatives on coming up with event/program ideas
Take ownership of the ideas/events/program proposed (resources will be provided to you to execute your event/idea)
Draft the event invites
Share the invites with the MOSA slack group, course admins, and other avenues as needed
Communicate with external or internal speakers/judges/other parties as needed
Be available/present on the event day for any technical help as needed by the lead event organizer(s)
Send out feedback surveys or make informal slack posts
Write event summary for the MOSA website
Develop committee members who may be interested in taking on a leadership role in future by exposing them to various leadership opportunities/initiatives
Communicate with other committee members, co-directors, and other MOSA stakeholders (such as MOSA members, executive board, other committees, etc.) in a timely fashion
At the beginning of the semester, host a committee meeting deciding the goals and initiatives for the semester to be carried out by the committee
Assess the need for additional committee members/number of open positions, respond to new applicants interested in joining the committee, and help train and support the committee members as needed
Be willing to join the MOSA general meeting (held at the beginning of the semester) and/or other meetings as necessary
